My husband Arnold<\/a> released a new\u00a0graphic novel called “Halina Filipina<\/a><\/strong>” last weekend at the Komiket,\u00a0his first\u00a0one since\u00a0“Martial Law Babies<\/a>” in 2008, and I for one am glad that he’s back\u00a0making comics again — which is actually what he was doing\u00a0—\u00a0and what he was quite known for\u00a0—\u00a0when we first met.<3<\/p>\n

It’s not like\u00a0he was idle for the past 7 years though — he directed, animated\u00a0and won awards for short\u00a0films such as “Milkyboy<\/a>,” “Lakas ng Lahi<\/a>,” (among many others<\/a>)\u00a0and\u00a0a music video for our own National Anthem “Lupang Hinirang<\/a>.” \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
