January 27:
The month after.

It feels good to be married. (: Arn and I are officially one-month-old as man and wife today and honestly we can't believe it's been that long already! Time really flies when you're happy.

We owe some of you our wedding pictures so here they are, hope you have fun (and plenty of spare time) [Go]

***
Ideally there would be a brand new layout to go with my change of status but we've been preoccupied. Lifestyle changed dramatically for this girl who transformed from web-savvy fiancÈe to doting wife and homemaker overnight. Surprisingly, new CDs, books, or clothing do not appeal to me now as much as cookware, home decor, and bed and bath linen do. I actually learned how to cook in less than a week*. Naturally there were a couple of tutong days but we've gone far beyond that now, and lo and behold, what we used to spend for an evening of Greenbelt dining can now go to a week's worth of groceries.

*It also helped that Arn had some knowledge on cooking to begin with.

***
By the way, if you're in the midst of planning your wedding, I should tell you that it really pays to register. You're not only making it more convenient for your guests, you're also assured of receiving gifts you will really need. (I must assure our friends who are reading this that all your gifts are being put to good use, thank you so much!! The thank you notes should be on their way soon.)

Speaking of gifts, Robert gave us the Platinum Series Extended Edition DVDs of Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers so you can imagine how half of our honeymoon was spent.

***
On a totally unrelated note, Arn and his brother Jing dragged me to watch Kill Bill vol. 1 last weekend. Although I liked Pulp Fiction, Tarantino's other earlier movies were too bloody (and talky) for me but I loved this one, blood, action and all. The anime sequence (Oren's origin) was awesome. I almost didn't get to watch it too -- when Arn and Jing were buying the tickets, the cashier did not want to issue me one unless I presented an ID (!). That's right, the misis still gets mistaken for a college kid.

Hi Mari,

Thank you so
much, you
captured soo
accurately in
words how Arnold
and I were feeling
during our
wedding! Ang
saya-saya talaga
to be able to find
the one you want
to love forever (:

Mona, yup we can't
wait na for the
ROTK extended
deluxe set! I have
a feeling that there
were a whole lot of
Saruman scenes
that did't make the
theatrical cut --
parang nabitin
kasi ako doon
although I found
the last movie the
best among the
(already
mind-blowing)
three!

naku talagang it really showed in your pictures that you are really happy. kitang kita sa iyong mukha. in the pictures, parang lagi kayong nakalutang....i mean it's like you are in another world and only the two of you. Best wishes and Congratulations.

were at Soul Food
last Sunday with
his best friend,
where were you?
Sayang naman we
didn't get to meet ):

Nev dear, oo nga
my favorite haunts
now are SM
Workshop, Area
Home, Play &
Display and
Gourdo's! Grabe...
good thing Arn
helps me resist
from buying
everything in sight.
I have the flu now,
by the way
(bummer huh) but
I hope we can
meet up soon. (:

hi cyn! i'm glad you're adjusting to married life well! when you start living on your own (or without your parents), you'll really take a sudden interest in appliances and cookware, etc...that's happened to me too when i moved out. i suddenly understood what all the fuss was about. :)

Ganda ng invites! And I really like your theme! We're aiming on incorporating stars into the wedding din, on account of my fiance's last name. :)
