Various Wedding Invitations for Poptastic Bride

Some of my wedding invitation designs for Poptastic Bride

In 2010, I started a wedding blog called Poptastic Bride where I write about non-traditional weddings. The site is also a venue for marketing my fun and funky invitation designs which cater to hip couples with a penchant for the non-mainstream. The gallery above features some of my best-selling work. You can see more designs on the blog are directly in the Poptastic Bride Zazzle store.

Imaginary Hapipaks gig poster for the movie “Rakenrol”

"hopia like us" gig poster for rakenrol

Project: An imaginary gig poster for the band “Hapipaks” in the movie “Rakenrol
Medium: pen and ink + digital paint
Date of publication: April 2011
Client: filmmaker Quark Henares

My dear friend Quark Henares asked his graphic designer friends to make imaginary gig posters for the band “Hapipaks: in his film “Rakenrol.” I was among them and of course I was very happy to oblige since I have personally Quark’s growth both as a person and an artistic filmmaker. For some reason images of hopia came to mind — not sure why — so I came up with this visually punny image of a box of happy hopias raring to perform. 🙂

You can see all the other imaginary gig posters in this Facebook album.
